The Steering Linkage

Here are a few pictures when I was still mocking up the steering linkage. I’ve welded in my Motorsport Rod and Custom Mustang II cross member and was fitting the engine block along with my BBK shorty headers. I got my steering column from Flaming River and created a bracket to hold it in place.

I needed to make sure I could get my linkage in around my headers and had to play with the steering column length and angles on my linkage to create a smooth feel. When the angles on the linkage was too sharp, I felt the steering motion binded up.
