Rolling Cart
I needed a way to move the old heap around once both the rear axle and
front suspension was removed. I think I
got the ideas somewhere and decided to build a couple ”H” frames to attach to
both side of the uni-body.

I built the two frames using 1/8”
thick 2”x2” tube, a few flat plates, some wheels and casters from Harbor
Freights and a can of bright yellow.

I had already cut out the shock
towers for the Mustang II front end and had welded the upper cross member and
the coil-over support hardware. This
hardware had provisions to accept a couple bolts so this is here I attached my
frame. I added another piece forward
to the bumper mounting threads to provide more stability.

The read frame was attached directly
to the rear bumper threads.

I didn’t know what to expect when
I tried to push the body back up the driveway and at first, I didn’t think I
would be able to push it back up myself, but once the wheels started moving, it
rolled rather easily.

Especially if you have help from
your crew…
